Cookies Galore

(Okay, so we all know that the first post is always the most uncomfortable one, so lets get this over with as quickly as possible.)

What's better than cookies on a warm spring day? Everything. But i still decided it should be a good idea to make them!I made two different types of cookies: good ol' fashioned Chocolate chip cookies and for "healthier" option i made my twist on oatmeal cookies.
For the Chocolate chip cookies you'll need:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2 sticks butter (Softened)

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large(ish) eggs
1 tbs vanilla

2 1/4 cups flour
1 pinch salt
1 tsp baking soda
Chocolate chips (As much as your heart desires)















Firstly, you need stir together butter, both sugars, eggs, and the vanilla. (Stir until its nice and creamy)
Then, gradually mix in the flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir until combined. Lastly you need to mix in the chocolate chips.
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes (or more). 

For the oatmeal cookies I basically used the same recipe except I substituted the butter for coconut oil and added oatmeal, craisins, raisins, flaxseeds and almonds.















When your cookies come out of the oven they should look like this:














(Hopefully they look better than mine)But I must admit, they were very tasty!
